Here is the original Marx Bros postcard -- they probably had makeup on for the shot -
and that, combined with the sepia, made the skin colouring even harder to match - especially as Dad's picture
was taken with black and white film and a Rolliflex, probably 2 and a quarter square and was fairly clear. Oh well, all fun. |
